In our world, we have never been busier than we are right now. Do you feel busy and unable to accomplish all that is on your list or your schedule? Are you finding yourself at the end of the day being overwhelmed and tired knowing that you did not accomplish all you set out to do?

There is a raised consciousness and awareness that is all around us, yet I find with many of my clients, my family and most of those I am around that there are many that lack having their life in balance. There are people that do really well in one or two areas yet lack in several others, or I find some that are very good in three and the other areas are way out whack.

So, my question to you is this: “Is your life in Balance?” Are you feeling peace and accomplishment or are you feeling overwhelm and frustration? If you are feeling anything besides peace and accomplishment, then you are out of balance in one or more area in your life. I have heard a lot about how people feel that there is no such thing as balance and yet what I have found after working on this for myself and working with hundreds of clients is that you can create your own balance and can have a very happy, peaceful, even very productive life full of balance even when one or two areas are not at the same level as the others.

I recently returned from being on a quick weekend vacation with my husband to MOAB Utah. We went to Moab specifically to push past our fear and go Skydiving! It was incredible!!! But, I felt that that story and video and even the topic was not for this week and felt strongly to share with you an episode that I created on Balance a few years ago while on vacation with my family.

We had a wonderful time. Moab is a beautiful place to do all different kinds of recreation. You can mountain bike, hike, go jeeping, drive rock crawlers or ATV’s and UTV’s like razors or side by sides and four wheelers, even motorcycles are found on the trails. You can base jump, rock climb, go river rafting and yes, even skydiving!. But no matter what you do to recreate, the view is the same. Big beautiful red rocks in amazing formations, arches and cliffs for miles and miles. It is breathtaking!

The views are majestic and it never gets old. The beauty is unbelievable and the feeling you get there is complete peace. It is being one with nature. You feel grounded and connected to the earth, while having the time of your life recreating and spending time in the great outdoors, appreciating all that we have and the unbelievable beauty of this earth.

I took many pictures on this trip. I focused on the formations that I felt had life lessons in them and created this video that I have attached with 33 pictures that we can learn from, compare to and get a lot out of. It is amazing how many times you can have huge life lessons taught from Nature.

I’d love for you to watch this video and see if there are any areas that you feel you are out of Balance. What I find is that at times we do not recognize that we are even getting out of balance until it is too late. Once we feel out of balance, it is pretty obvious that there is a problem and it is showing up in a big way. It is much better for us if we can catch this sooner in our life and see it when it is just a bit out of alignment and we can bring it into focus easier and quicker without taking much effort.

Not all of us can balance on one leg like this picture of my daughter. In fact, what you cannot see is that the rock she is standing on is elevated quite high on a smaller little rock holding up the big one. As we align ourselves better we have better balance. If I were to stand on one leg like this, I would sway a lot and be very unsuccessful. It takes practice and of course we have to do it repetitively in order to feel comfortable. The same thing must take place with you as you balance your life. You will feel awkward and even shaky, but as you work at this over time, you can become very successful at finding your balance and feeling that peace and accomplishment.

This is one of the famous arches that you will find in Moab. It can be found on the Utah license plates as well as many articles and publications. There is a beautiful hike that you can take to go out to this spectacular arch. We have hiked to this arch many times. This particular time, I was thinking about being in balance and aligning my life.

I was amazed at how many things came to my mind as I sat by this arch and contemplated how things were going and how I could improve. I believe we all can continue to improve and I love taking a look into myself to see where I can make adjustments.

As I pondered, I looked at this arch. I found the beauty, the strength, the solitude. I noticed the imperfections that did not take away any of its value. I could see its strength, its beauty and the magnificence of it. I saw how it withstands wind and rain, sleet and snow. It stands unmoved by the storms and even the heat. It remains strong through the coldest times as well as the hottest times. It never wavers or falters when times get tough. It stands tall no matter what, always. I could see and feel the many lessons that could be learned from just the one arch. What lessons can you see for you?

Join me in this episode. Yes it is over 30 minutes long….but, I share 33 majestic formations, arches and incredible sites. I also compare them to balance in your life, to how we can learn from nature and give you a lot to ponder and implement into your life to create change and to align yourself to find the balance that you seek.
