We always want to be perfect in all that we do. From our job, to being a friend and even how we parent, aren’t we striving for perfection? In fact, as a person we are harder on our self than on anyone

else, right? We are in constant judgement of ourselves and how we are living our lives, right down to the smallest detail. Yet, we wonder why we are frustrated, unhappy and discouraged. When will it be time to accept where we are and stop trying to be perfect? “Nobody ’s Perfect” is an episode that is needed in our society today more than ever.
We must learn to be happy with where we are, even if it is not the “perfect spot”. The way we learn to be happy with that is to

Let Go of the Need to Be Perfect! Some things you can do to assist in this process are:
  • Accept things where they are
  • Be forgiving of others and yourself
  • Be patient in achieving the results we want
  • Give yourself permission
  • Love yourself through the process
  • Let Things Go
I am the first person to tell you that we should all be working to better ourselves and do all that we can to continually improve. I know this as I diligently set goals and work to improve myself, but I do find myself getting discouraged or frustrated at times. I also work with clients every day and see how unhappy they are with where they currently are in their lives and they think that “if only they got this” or “if only they lost some weight” or “if only they had the perfect relationship”. If only we were Perfect! Right? Wrong! There is no such thing! As soon as we thought we had achieved it, it would have changed! Think about that new car you thought would

be perfect and then after you had it a while it was not so perfect or the new perfect house you got that isn’t so perfect now. What about that perfect outfit or the perfect hair cut….it just does not last. It will never last and remain perfect. We will always be striving for something else to create that “perfection” that we are striving for.

Your Happiness is a decision….Your Decision! You are only as happy as you decide to be. As harsh as that sounds, it is true. You are the one who determines your happiness. Isn’t it time to “Let Go Of the Need to Be Perfect” and find your own true happiness? Isn’t it time for you to have a smile on your face even when life is not perfect? You can have that smile if you are grateful for all that God has given you and what you have in your life. When we see the good and focus on that, we see more good! “Nobody’s Perfect” is just that and that is okay.

Join me in this episode where I share the completely raw and real story of my current life situations and how I “Let Go Of the Need to Be Perfect” and released 16 pounds! I tell it like it is! We all are in this together and together we can strengthen and empower each other to be better than we were before. Life does not have to be perfect to be Fabulous!
